Abstract Submission for Oral Paper and E-Poster Presentation

The Organizing and Scientific Committee is happy to invite abstracts for oral and E-poster presentation for consideration in the academic deliberations of the 34^th National  Conference of Indian Federation of Ultrasound in Medicine and Biology hosted by Indore Chapter of IFUMB to be held at Hotel Essentia from 23^rd to 25^th October 2026

Deadline for abstract submission is 15^th August 2026

General guidelines for oral paper presentation and E-poster presentation:

• Abstract categories:
  1.Obstetrics/Gynecology
  2.Chest and Abdomen
  3.MSK
  4.Small parts
  5.Vascular
  6.USG Guided interventions
• Abstracts must be submitted in English.
• A maximum of 2 abstracts (1 Paper + 1 e-Poster) per author will be accepted for submission.
• A maximum of three authors. Certificate of presentation will be only for presenting author
• An abstract which has been previously published / presented cannot be submitted.
• Postgraduate thesis topics should not be sent as abstract for paper / poster till the degree is awarded by their respective universities.
• All abstracts will be reviewed by the members of the scientific committee and will be judged on scientific value, potential clinical value, originality of work and impact factor. The decision of acceptance / rejection of abstract by the scientific committee is final. No review or revision or influences are entertained
• The Scientific Committee and will notify the main author regarding the selection of his material and to the presentation format: oral paper or e-poster.
• The abstract must highlight the importance of the theme and the originality of the study, its purpose, the characteristics of the case and the relevance of the approached subject in the context of today's knowledge.
• The identification of the author must include the following information in the exact order: First name, Last name, Institution, Department, e-mail ID, Mobile no, City and Country.
• The title must be typed using Capital letters, Times New Roman font, size 12, Bold, maximum 300 Characters.
• The body of the abstract must be typed using Times New Roman font, size 12, single space.
• The abstract must not contain any graphics, tables, pictures, or other types of figures.

Specific Guidelines: Oral Paper Presentations:

Abstracts for “Oral presentation”, (Original research, Meta-analysis, Review articles); should not

exceed 350 words (in total) and be structured in the following specified subtitles: “Aims & Objective,“Methods and materials”, “Results”, “Discussion” and “Conclusion”.

Specific Guidelines: E-Poster Presentations:

Abstracts for “E-Poster” (Original research, Pictorial essay, Case series report, Single typical or rare case report with review of literature); should not exceed 150 words (in total) and be structured in thefollowing specified subtitles: “Learning Objectives”, “Background”, “Imaging findings or Procedure details” and “Conclusion”.

Submit abstracts by email to abstracts@uscon2026.com. All abstracts must be submitted only by email in PDF/Word format by the posted deadlines in order to be considered for acceptance.
